Introduction
Privora ("the App") is a personal management application for iPhone developed with privacy as its foundational principle. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Information We Collect
We collect no personal data.
Privora does not require an account, login, email address, or any form of registration. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers. There are no analytics platforms, crash reporting services, or third-party data collection SDKs integrated into the App.
How Data Is Stored
All data you enter into Privora — including financial records, notes, contacts, warranty images, document scans, and any other information — is stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data resides within the App's sandboxed local storage and is not accessible to other applications on your device.
Camera and Photo Library Usage
Privora requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the purpose of capturing or importing images of receipts, warranty cards, and documents. These images are:
- Stored locally on your device within the App's sandboxed storage
- Never uploaded to any server or cloud service
- Never shared with any third party
On-Device OCR Processing
The App uses Apple's Vision framework to perform optical character recognition (OCR) on receipt images. This processing happens entirely on your device. No image data or extracted text is transmitted externally.
Contacts
Privora includes a Private Contact Book feature. This feature is entirely self-contained and does not use or access the iOS Contacts framework (CNContactStore). Contacts saved within Privora are stored only in the App's local database and are completely isolated from your iPhone's system contacts. No third-party application can access contacts stored in Privora.
Notifications
Privora uses Apple's local notification system (UserNotifications framework) to deliver reminders for due dates, warranty expiries, appointments, and other time-sensitive events. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No push notification servers or external services are involved.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Privora does not process payments directly. For information about how Apple handles purchase data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App does not receive or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone. There are no third-party services, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or external APIs integrated into Privora. The App makes no network requests to transmit user data.
Third-Party Services
Privora does not integrate with any third-party services for data collection, analytics, or advertising. The only external interaction is with Apple's StoreKit for subscription management, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
Data Security
Your data benefits from multiple layers of protection:
- App Sandbox: iOS restricts the App's data to its own sandboxed container, preventing other apps from accessing it.
- Device Encryption: Data stored on your iPhone is protected by iOS device-level encryption.
- Optional App Lock: You can enable Face ID or device passcode protection within the App's settings to prevent unauthorized access.
- No Network Exposure: Because no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of interception during transit.
User Control
You have complete control over your data at all times:
- Export: You can export a summary of your data from Settings.
- Deletion: Deleting any record within the App permanently removes it from your device. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data.
- No Remote Copies: Because no data is synced to external servers, deleting your data from the device is final and complete.
Children's Privacy
Privora does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal data whatsoever, it does not present specific risks to children's privacy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Since the App does not collect contact information, we encourage users to review this policy periodically.
